ALMIGHTY and ever-living God, we praise you for your work of redemption and for the new life we know through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. We give you thanks for the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh, and for the work of your Holy Spirit in our parishes and diocesan organizations. In this time of uncertainty and anxiety as we face our next Diocesan Convention, we humbly pray for our bishops, our clergy and our lay leaders. We pray for wisdom and discernment, for humility and courage, for love and compassion. May we never neglect the task you have given us: to share the Good News; And may we be guided in all that we do by your Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
